18”x24” painting on panel
Feathery Sea features bold cliffs along the shore of Maine, along with a feather-patterned sea reaching shoreward. Many layers of patterns are overlapped to indicate the movement of rock and the intricacies of life that dwells here. This painting is created with acrylic paint and artist designed, carved, and printed collage papers on a cradled birch panel. It is deeply layered and highly textured.
