Roaring Fire 8"x10", 12"x15" with frame
My Comfort Series arose out of my need, during the pandemic, to experience security and warmth. It’s unlike my other Land of the Pointed Firs work, but these nostalgic images speak to other people as well who have felt the same, whether it is a pandemic, or a threatening illness, or simply a yearning for times gone by. Some are night time scenes of cozy camps under starry skies, with warm glowing windows. Others are hearth lit scenes of cozy cabin interiors, some with historical details.
They are all either 8”x10”, some vertical and some horizontal, painted with acrylic and framed in “Plein air” style gold frames. The frames are solid wood, with gold leaf, befitting the warm glow and nostalgic concept. With frames, the pieces are each roughly 12”x15”.
The price of each is $350 for local pickup and I can ship for an additional shipping charge based on where you are.
